Sport brings us closer!
WIUT organized a men's basketball tournament - the ‘WIUT RECTOR'S CUP 2023'' with the participation of 12 universities from Tashkent.
WIUT's team was the winner with INHA taking second place and Turin Polytechnic University finishing third. All winners received medals, certificates for their participation and prizes.

Football is a game of billions around the world
From February 20th to February 28th, 2023, a prestigious football tournament for the prize for "WIUT RECTOR'S CUP" was held at WIUT sports center. 13 Universities from Tashkent took part in the tournament. Management Development Institute of Singapore won this tournament. Second place was taken by the WIUT Wolves team and third place was Webster University in Tashkent. All winners were awarded medals and certificates.
WIUT hosts Table Tennis tournament
On March 15, 2023, WIUT just wrapped up an exciting Rector's Cup tournament in table tennis. This year we hosted 12 international university teams in Tashkent. The tournament was a huge success, showcasing some of the best table tennis student talents. WIUT students won the tournament! Congratulations to all the winners and participants! The Rector's Cup tournament is just one of many initiatives the university aims to inspire all students to lead active, healthy lives and continue pursuing their sports passions!
MSc in Public Health Science at the Health Forum Uzbekistan - India
Dr. Evgeniya Shalaeva (Economics Department/WIUT) participated in the Health Forum Uzbekistan - India held Tashkent on April 13- 14, 2023. Health sector decision makers of Uzbekistan and India have participated in Forum. During the Forum, Dr. Shalaeva provided information about the MSc in Public Health Science course WIUT to the Forum participants and made contacts with representatives of research and medical institutes a university in India.
