Employment practice: labour rights
In accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, WIUT acknowledges unions and labor rights (freedom of organization and collective bargaining) for everyone, including women and foreign employees. A joint document known as the "Collective Agreement" was created between the Employer (WIUT) and the employees represented by the Labour Union. It was created based on the Republic of Uzbekistan's Constitution, Labor Code, Laws "On Employment," "On Labor Protection," "On Trade Unions, Their Rights and Guarantees of Activities," and "On Social Partnership," among other regulatory laws. It ensures that every employee in the system has the bare minimum of socioeconomic rights and benefits.
