The third Uzbekistan–UK Education Forum formally commenced on 15 May 2025 in London. Organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan, the British Council, and top institutions including the University of Westminster, London South Bank University, Westminster International University in Tashkent, and TEAM University, the Forum serves as a key platform for advancing transnational education and research.
Hosted by London South Bank University, the first day of the Forum featured dynamic discussions on how higher education institutions can better prepare students for the future workforce. Key sessions that were discussed included university–industry collaboration, entrepreneurship education integration into the curriculum, and applying dual education strategies.
Delegates from leading universities and institutions from Uzbekistan and the UK shared good practice, discussed policy action, and investigated methods to improve graduate employability and support sustainable change in higher education.
This year's theme imposes the principles of international cooperation in designing modern, inclusive, and responsive higher education systems responsive to the needs of a more dynamic global labour market.
